What I love about the iPc

With the growing popularity of Apple products, I thought it would be nice to hear some of the reasons of this phenomenon alongside some critical arguments about such reasons.

  1. It just works. Yep, just ask any of those hundreds of people who lost huge amounts of data just because they let someone sign into a guest account. Or just take a look at their troubleshooting section, if Macs truly "just worked" there would be no need for pages like this. Yes, Macs crash too, and any one who denies it should be considered a zombie and shot on sight. Just do it, they are dead inside.
  2. It's more secure. I often hear careless Apple fan boys throw this phrase around in the wind. Such a bold way of living, not a care in the world, no anti-virus, no firewall. Maybe if they took they're head from out their asses they would have seen this 2008 Contest in which the Mac was hacked into in under 2 minutes; giving a time span of 3 days the Mac was the first to be compromised followed by Vista on the last day and Ubuntu Linux on, well... Ubuntu was not able to be hacked into at all.
  3. I don't have to worry about virus' anymore.  So I realize this is number twos bastard son of a sequel but I had to bring this up some how, many Apple users insist they are not the target of malicious intentions and I hope they keep this attitude because there is a new motivation for hackers to target Macs: Its users smugness. Macs have no anti-malware making them an easy target and Now hackers are paid 43 cents for every Mac that is hijacked.
  4. They care about the environment. Bullshit! They want you to think that because it's hip and sophisticated to have an opinion on climate change right now among the collage student demographic (their target). If they really did care, why are all of their products made in China where they don't need to meet any standards on greenhouse gas emissions or  follow any laws about polluting the country side with toxic chemicals like mercury that wind up in the food supply all over the world.
  5. I saved a bundle because I chose a Mac. Oh, wait! I've never heard these words uttered... Ever! I may have been thinking about Linux

Apple - All About Image

Reported on Oct. 6th, Apple announced it has joined a growing list of companies to ditch the US Chamber of Commerce over its skeptical view of climate change.
An executive at Apple wrote: "Apple supports regulating greenhouse gas emissions, and it is frustrating to find the Chamber at odds with us in this effort."
A BBC reporter asked another Apple executive what they were planning to do about the companies in china who make their components where they have no or little regulations on greenhouse gas emissions.
Adding that, if they leave the Chamber on such a basis of its views on climate change then they shouldn't have a problem with at least meeting the current standards of America's emission laws with their own factories in China, which are currently far below making that grade.
The Apple executive declined for a response.

Apple introduces new product

When Apple introduced the iPod it changed the way you listen to and organize your music. You have heard some people claim that there were mp3 players out before the iPod, but you know this is just a myth, Apple invented the digital portable music device. Today Apple does it again. Introducing the iPC. Imagine if you will a machine where you can create documents, watch and edit movies, listen to and create music, connect to the Internet, browse the web, send and receive emails, and so much more. You can even use it to play games. this is a perfect device for wasting time with things like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Blogging and other useless bullshit. Yes, that's right it's the "Idiot Proof Computer". Now you can act like you are better then everyone else by paying 3 times more then you should for a pc, but you won't call it a pc even though that's what it is, you'll call it your iPC, and when people ask you why you can't customize it you will simply shoot back with your ignorance "it just works" because that's what you will believe. no matter how many times the thing crashes on you, you will still believe it works better then anything else out there. You will also believe it is more secure then anything else out there, no matter how much proof to the contrary there is. Lastly, you will love paying for updates and what is even better you will love it you want to upgrade and you realize it is impossible, so in 5 years your $2000 iPC will be worthless because you haven't been able to upgrade it piece by piece and instead will have to invest even more money on an entire new system. You don't have any other option, you are an idiot and only an idiot proof computer will work for you, it won't let you change a thing because we wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. The point is Apple could take something that's been around for a long time and slap a new marketing campaign and name on it and you would go out and pay triple for it because it sports an apple logo. But this is nothing new, dumb people have always gone out and spent extra money on something just because of a name. The problem with these idiotic mac users is they think they are evolved and enlightened, even some very smart people I know have fallen victim to this ridiculous hoax that macs are superiour to another kind of pc, but it is quite opposite when you considor the long term advantages. These long term advantages/disadvantages will be discussed by you, let's start an all out retarded internet blog comment war, let the controversy begin...
